Libraries, Sub-Free

I really like public libraries. I finally got a membership with the one here in my college town, and it's great. The kind of stuff I'm looking for this year (reference pictures for animation and text for typography projects) is much easier to find there than at the JMU library (which is good for research papers, of course). Plus, they have fun movies and CDs to keep me from total boredom when I'm working. Like Lilo & Stitch and Lake Woebegone.
There was something I wanted to talk about earlier, and now I forgot it.
My family got two kittens. I went home to see them a couple weeks ago. One is orange, the other vanilla. I will bore you with pictures later.
Oh, yeah. I was thinking how it's kind of strange to live in sub-free sometimes. Since I'm completey liberal, but most here are ultraconservative generally quite Christian. They're not weird about it or anything, it just sometimes strikes me how different I am from the ordinary college student. I'm not much interested in alcohol, and I see it's (stereo?)typical use by my peers as a substitute for meaningful socializing. And, I'm underage, so why bother with it. The nice thing about living here, though, is that I have not ONCE heard somebody's baseline when I was trying to get to sleep.
Also, sometimes drawings just come effortlessly straight through my hands, and I'm all pleased, and then I try again, and they're all crap, and I am confused. But I really should get some work done now because I'm not going to be able to get any done tonight. Ta!
