Wake-Up Call 10:18 am
Three steps away from my dorm this morning I found myself on my butt with stinging palms. My first reaction is always surprise, pain may come when I stand up. But, really, I don't experience falling at all, I'm just walking and then I'm suddenly sitting.

I guess this is going to happen every time the temperature gets above freezing. The sidewalk was damp from the melt, and under the water was a thin layer of ice. It continued the whole twenty minute walk to art. Taking small steps and still sliding around. Happily, most of the walk was ice-free coming back.

In other news, I haven't been sleeping well. Can't fall asleep, can't stay asleep. But, for having gotten under seven hours pretty consistently lately, I'm running about fine. It mostly just hits me in Philosophy class, when the professor's murmur lulls me near to dreams.
